FUNCTIONS OF DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

First of all, What is Database Management System?

       - Database Management System  is a tool used to create, update, and delete the database in a very efficient way it can also use by maintaining records. It is basically a software which is used by the database companies to create a database for their records and systems. These are the following uses to help create a data bases: MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Python, etc.


How secure is DBMS?

Due to the Security level, It can handle many users with good performance and keeping data consistent.


Functions of DBMS:

  • Data Manipulation - retrieve and update existing data in the database, or to add a new data to the database.

  • Data Security and Integrity - monitoring the user requests and reject any attempts to violate the security and checks by the database admin.

  • Data Recovery and Concurrency - can recover the data without having effects or a system crash.

  • Data Dictionary - it provides the system databases which called the data dictionary.
